After completing this course, students will know how to:
- Start Palm Desktop and identify the main components, and use the Date, Address,
To Do and Memo applications to create records.
- Identify the components of the handheld and open and navigate in Palm
applications.
- Enter and edit text using Graffiti writing and the onscreen keyboard.
- Use the Date Book application to create timed, untimed, and repeating events,
and to set display options.
- Create address entries and categories, and use the Look up feature.
- Create To Do items, and use the Phone Lookup feature.
- Use the copy and paste commands to create memos, and beam items to another
handheld user.
- Create expense items, add receipt details, and set Show options.
- Perform a local HotSync, and view setup and custom options.
- Hide and mask records, create and delete passwords, and examine customization
